Acuity B1, Onset X: Fujifilm’s showstoppers at Fespa

Fujifilm will display its Acuity B1, a modular printer and Onset X platform for the production of corrugated displays and packages. Fujifilm will be present at the Fespa Global Print Expo 2018, Berlin in the stands D50, hall 2.2 and C30, hall 5.2 from 15 to 18 May 2018.

Acuity B1 is a modular printer for short-run graphics display work. This time, it will be commercially available at the show. It is a UV inkjet printer loaded with Fujifilm’s Dimatix QFR printheads capable of delivering seven picolitre drop sizes.

Tudor Morgan of Fujifilm Graphic Systems Europe said, “In the past year we’ve added the Acuity 15 flatbed and the Acuity LED 1600R roll-to-roll printer to the range, as well as the Acuity B1.”

In hall 5.2, under Fespa’s inaugural Digital Corrugated Experience, Fujifilm will be showcasing the Inca digital Onset X platform. This UV inkjet is designed for printing on secondary food packaging and corrugated retail display. The Onset X uses a low migration ink range called Uvijet LM, intended for secondary food packaging and corrugated retail displays.

Fujifilm will also showcase its Inca Digital Robotics Systems which will be assisting the Onset X.
