Established in 2007, Gyan Digital came into the printing business from other business segment and started from scratch. They were one of the first few bureau houses that invested in the CTP machine at that point of time when most of the market was not aware of what this device is. They bought the first Basysprint CTP system which is still in production and this started their growth pattern. The company acts as a one-stop destination servicing more than 100 customers both from Agra and from other parts of Uttar Pradesh.

Gyanendra Kumar Gautam, founder and Vikas Gautam, partner, Gyan Digital, said, “We installed the new machine in March intending to serve more customers as the demand for daily printing plates production had gone up. Since we have a huge customer base, our plate production is approximately 1,000 plates per day.”

Before the Cron was added, the company’s existing Basysprint used to run for 24-hours. “The Cron has brought the load down. The quality and the performance of the Cron is very good and it justifies our investment,” he added.

The G series UVP CTP plate setters provide the perfect answer to print flexibility. The next-generation laser platform combined with liquid-cooling technology ensures enhanced consistency, ease of use and serviceability. Together with patented plate handling technology, the G series models offer maximum reliability with fast throughput.

Gyanendra said, “The company has a strong transportation network and that’s the reason it can connect more customers in a wider geography. It also boosts our confidence as the support from the Monotech Systems is strong. They are the reason we are in the printing business as our first machine, the Basysprint, was bought from them. It's been almost 15 years since we are cherishing our business relationship,” he said.

A team of 28 people work in Gyan Digital’s facility spanning 750 square yards.
