Ahead of PrintPack 2017, IPAMA elects a new team
Ahead of PrintPack 2017 to be held in February, the flagship event organised by the Indian Printing Packaging and Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA), the association has elected a new team at the helm. “As the tenure of the earlier team had expired, we elected a new team,” Prashant Vats, executive secretary, IPAMA, said. The tenure of the new team will be of two years.

Industry veteran HV Sheth of Noida-based Sheth Printograph is the new president, followed by four regional vice-presidents – PK Bhalla of Manugraph for western region, Vinay Kumar Gupta of AEC Machinery for northern region, CN Ashok of Autoprint for southern region and Jaiveer Singh of Rotta Print India for eastern region.
Similarly, Balkrishan Khindria of Memory Repro Systems is the new general secretary, followed by four joint secretaries. Satish Kaushik of Web Masters will be responsible for the western region, Naveen Gupta of Prakash Offset Machinery for northern region, Dayaker Reddy of Gutenberg Machinery for southern region and Iqbal Singh of Sond Associates will be responsible for eastern region.
Dharmesh Arora of Fair Deal Engineers will be the new treasurer.
The newly-elected body has 24 governing council members as well.
The new team was elected during a meeting of the governing council of IPAMA held on 27 October.
HV Sheth, the new president, emphasised the need for technological up-gradation and development, smooth coordination with the members of the association. He also highlighted the need to open an institute for imparting technical training for the betterment of the industry.
PrintPack 2017 will be held on 4-8 February 2017 at the India Expo Centre, Greater Noida. The 2015 edition of PrintPack saw more than 400 exhibitors lure more than 85,000 footfalls, 45,000 of which were unique visitors. Besides, there were more than 100 product launches.
