AIFMP receives Rs 5,00,000 reimbursement for Drupa delegates
As per the communication received from the ministry of MSME, Government of India, the President of India has released a sum of Rs 5,00,000 as reimbursement to All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) for organising a business delegation of MSMEs to visit Drupa 2016 held at Dusseldorf, Germany, from 4 to 7 June 2016 (excluding the duration of the journey) under IC Scheme.

Kamal Chopra, vice-president (north), AIFMP, said, “The grant-in-aid received from the ministry of MSME will be distributed to the delegates who visited Drupa under the banner of AIFMP. The AIFMP delegation included 19 entrepreneurs and Raveendra Joshi, treasurer, AIFMP, who led the delegation as the office bearer of the organisation.”
Thanking the ministry of MSME for the support, Raveendra Joshi said, the international cooperation (IC) scheme of the ministry of MSME is a wonderful opportunity for the micro and small printers to visit and gather knowledge about the latest developments.
Joshi added that under the scheme 100% airfare has been reimbursed to the entrepreneurs. “It is great encouragement and I am thankful to the ministry of MSME for this support,” Joshi said.
AIFMP also celebrated India Day during Drupa 2016 with Kiran Khatri, Consul (economic & commerce), Consulate General of India at Frankfurt as the chief guest. During India Day, the capacity and potential of the Indian printing and packaging industry was highlighted, with a view to invite overseas industries to get their printing and packaging work executed in India. The event received encouraging responses from the overseas buyers.
AIFMP activities and achievements were also displayed at the complementary booth provided by the Drupa organisers. The AIFMP distributed a booklet titled ‘Print in India’ at the booth persuading overseas entrepreneurs to get their printing and packaging jobs executed in India.
