AIPL to extend its product portfolio
New Delhi-based adhesive tape manufacturer Ajit Industries (AIPL) is set to expand its product range to be at par with the global adhesive tape market, which is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5% in the period of 2019-24, according to a report by Market Research Future.

AIPL will increase its range of products to cater to the packaging, label, signage, white goods, and electronic electrical industries, among others.
Ajit Gupta, founder of AIPL, said, “APAC countries have dominated the adhesive tapes market and are anticipated to continue doing so in the forecast period. Japan is one of the major markets for adhesive tapes, owing to the massive production of appliances and health care products. However, the growing packaging industries in countries such as China, Japan and India are further expected to augment the demand for adhesive tapes. From the above-mentioned factors, it is evident that the demand for adhesive tapes is expected to further increase in the Asia Pacific region over the coming years.”
“We noticed a gap in the current generation of adhesive products. Hence, we are extensively marketing new products with personalisation for creating a better relationship with the target customers,” added Gupta.
AIPL offers a wide range of user-friendly specialty tapes under its own brand-names Sunsui, Super Gold, EZ Wonder, and EZ Pack. Most of these products are tested and approved by SGS, Shriram Institute, and Automobile Research Association of India (ARAI).
Commenting on the incorporation of eco-friendly materials in its production, Gupta said, “We strongly believe in protecting the environment for our good and the generations to come and have slated several programmes in this direction.”
