Allstein presents new Allstein Genesis at Drupa

At Drupa 2024, Allstein unveiled its latest disruption to the printing market, the Genesis, which the company claims is the world's first, fully automatic flexographic printing machine. The full automation in a new platform replaces all previously operator-driven tasks, including plate cylinder and anilox change as well as doctor blade, seal and splash guard replacement.

The company said as the printing industry is currently facing a shortage of skilled workers all over the world, this machine reaffirms Allstein’s commitment to establishing fully automatic production in the flexo printing industry.

Rather than press operators getting their hands dirty while cleaning aniloxes, changing inks, changing blades or lifting heavy-weight print hardware, Allstein delivers a future where printers can focus on what they do best, signing off good quality print.

The automatic workflow allows predictable and consistent changeovers, making production planning easy. The Genesis decides when the aniloxes need cleaning, when blades are worn or seals require replacement. It cleans critical components and puts everything back together 24 hours a day, without being asked.

More than 600 interested customers attended the exclusive Allstein Genesis demo during the 10-day show.

The first installations are scheduled at customer sites in 2025.
