Operating out of a 2500 sq/ft area, Allwyn specialises in POD solutions. “Be it in any media or any format,” said Kirti Karia, proprietor at Allwyn Jumbo Xerox.

“The reason to buy the Xerox 1000,” explained Karia, “was because of its speed, duty cycle and capability to run continuous jobs. The beauty is its flexibility with different media without any compromise on productivity or quality.”

The Xerox 1000 is equipped with FreeFlow server – four-colour and print jobs like brochure, pamphlets, visiting cards, posters, danglers, menu cards, books, photo albums. In addition, Allwyn will be using the machine for short run packaging applications as it is capable of printing on 350gsm at rated speed.

“It will also open up opportunities like packaging visual aids especially for pharma companies who seek to work with 350gsm media. We also foresee a high growth in volumes in Kantex and 22 different types of texture papers,” said Karia.

“While making the purchase, we were also evaluated the Canon7011VP and Konica Minolta 1100/1080,” added Karia. “However, the decision was in favour of Xerox because it has lower power consumption across all products under 100 ppm category. Plus it is upgradable and has 350 gsm duplex capability, fast and rated speed, the seamless IBT belt with a novel fuser module.”

Allwyn is an one stop shop for all kinds of applications and offers end-to-end solutions including designing of brochures, templates and leaflets, book printing, large-format printing, sun board printing, HP UV printing, eco solvent & screen printing etc.

The Xerox 1000 will share the shopfloor space with Xerox DC8000, HP 5100, HP UV 45500, KM, Ricoh 907 and Roland RA640 among other devices.
