Alok Bharadwaj receives global recognition

VentureOutsourcing.com, a Silicon Valley-based website enlisted Alok Bharadwaj, president of Manufacturer's Association of IT industry (MAIT) and senior vice president for Canon India, on the 45th rank of the top 100 people influencing electronics manufacturing services (EMS) – 2012.

The global website provides insights, information and interactions for manufacturing players in electronics through its annual listing of the top 100 global most influencing people.

“India is considered to be attempting to attract global electronics manufacturing and my role in MAIT will play a vital role for the country to attain it. I intend to make efforts to make India an attractive destination for manufacturing,” said Bharadwaj.

The list, among others include Srinivasa Moorthy, head of the design center in India for Sanmina-SCI; Anand Sharma, minister of commerce and industry for the government of India; Terry Guo of Foxconn that manufactures iPhone, Microsoft X box, Amazon Kindle and Tim Cook of Apple.
