There are few automatic plants, but more modernised packaging plants are required to produce advanced packaging to meet the increasing demand from the retail-ready and similar industrial sectors.”

The conference will host technical seminars and the exhibition hopes to see 150 to 200 stalls from the packaging, printing and allied machinery manufacturers and paper mills from all over India and abroad. “The two events aim to demonstrate the value of integrating management and technology in the packaging business as a major tool to compete and innovate,” said Rajendran.
