APL Machinery pushing LED UV

APL has recently installed India’s first LED UV at Shree Maruthi Printers in Coimbatore. In addition, the company recently installed a raft of its solutions at Rajkot-based Printwell Offset. Printwell’s investments include three interdeck UV and three Dripp Off UV machines.
Also on display was the CSF screen-printing machine, which boasts of printing on any substrate from a metallic paper to a wood and glass.
According to Stephen Metclaf, CEO, Air Motion Systems, the US-based manufacturer of UV and LED curing systems, the LED UV technology will gain popularity in India with the increased emphasis on sustainability and technology upgrades.
“We are projecting 20-30 new customers for the technology in the next 12 months. Adhering to the advantages of the technology, LED is the future of printing. Our aim is to make the industry better with better technology," said Metclaf.
“APL,” he added, “is the perfect partner to promote the technology with its reach across the country and with the understanding of the technology.”
