APL Machinery unveils screen printing machine

For the Faridabad-based manufacturer, the show was not UV-centric as was the case in Pamex. The company launched the Atom Flat Screen printing machine, its latest offering in the screen printing segment. “We had satisfactory footfalls, with good amount of leads and orders for both APL and Vegra APL,” said Mukul Chauhan, senior product manager, APL Machinery.

Vegra APL, an associate company of APL Machinery at the show, introduced Growth Unlimited as the executive business partner for western India, and Pankaj Trading as channel business partner for Ahmedabad, with display of coatings and press room chemicals range.

Speaking on the new launch, Chauhan said, “The Atom’s in-built sensors assists the squeegee with perfect registrations and thus reduces operator skill and dependency.” The machine can take substrates up to two-inch thicknesses and can print on paper, poly bag, non-woven bags, stickers, glittering, tile printing and footwear. Atom Flat series screen printing machines are high performing machines with outputs of 1000iph.

Chauhan is upbeat about the print market in Ahmedabad. “Ahmedabad is a potential print market experiencing continuous growth in all segments: newspapers, publications, commercial and packaging industries,” he said.

Digi UV curing machine and UV dryers were also exhibited live at APL’s stall. “We have fully loaded top models of our UV coating and curing Machines installed at various leading printers like Navneet, Smruti, JK Burad, Maharshi in Gujarat and many more,” said Chauhan.
