APL notches third UV coater deal at PrintPack

The machine which is capable of both full and spot coating is equipped with UV dryer and IR dryer with hot air for UV and aqueous curing for IR respectively. The coater can handle stock from 60 to 450 gsm and works at a maximum speed of 6000 sheets per hour. Other key features include cross sheet detector, automatic delivery stacker and is fitted with anilox coater system with doctor chamber blades.

“We are encouraged by the response for the machine so far, considering the short time since its launch and we expect a few more installations to happen in the coming months,” said Abhishek Paul, director of APL machinery.

SML Labels is a Hong Kong headquartered company with a factory in Gurgaon produces tags with variable product identification, graphic designs, advanced anti-counterfeit protection, and more. Globally, the company offers product branding and labeling, RFID and EAS, advanced inventory software and data management services, and product packaging design and engineering.

APL had a very good outing at the recently concluded PrintPack have installations of the machine at Ramshree UV Prints in Hyderabad and Cigar Rings in the Dominican Republic.
