The 10,000 sheet/hour 28x40inch coater is available in two models, one with ceramic roller and the other an anilox roller.

Besides the new launch, APL also manufactures a line of interdecks for offset, gravure and flexography label presses, Digi UV and flat screen printing machines.

According to Rajiv Kapoor, chief executive at APL, since the last Drupa, the demands of print buyers have undergone tremendous changes bringing in new challenges for today’s printers. “APL’s line of products evolved through continuous R&D, incorporates latest accessories from leading suppliers in Europe, and is fit to meet the changing needs.”

In its second outing at Drupa, APL has also aligned with German manufacturer of varnishes, Vegra and is looking out for partners to boost its international presence.

“We are looking for tie-ups in sales and service of our machine in the European and US markets and will leverage the network of our partner Vegra in Germany,” said Kapoor.
