Arets opens a new office for western region

Arets India, the manufacture of UV inks and coatings, has opened its new office in Vapi, Gujarat. This, according to the manufacturer, will help in increasing the services both in terms of supply and technical support.

The new office was inaugurated on 1 April.

Prashant Atre of Arets India, said, “We have planned and strategically decided to open the new office in Vapi because it will help us cater the entire western region of India. Luc Dehandschutter, international sales head, Arets Belgium inaugurated the new office.”

Atre added, “After completing almost a decade of business operations in the western India, and experiencing significant growth, the office at Vapi will be imperative for future.”

Meanwhile, last year in April Toyo Ink SC Holdings acquired Arets, the Belgian-based UV ink specialist.

Chetan Shah of Kannan Graphics, one of the representatives for Arets India, said, “The UV ink market has been a strong performer in recent years. Arets, now a part of Toyo Group, with Indian head quarters at New Delhi, with their new office has not only increased their footprint in India but has come another step towards being close to their clients.”

Shah concluded, “With the new office and stocking unit in Vapi, we will be in a position to cater to the packaging players in Daman and Silvassa. This is a growth initiative. It means, we can further improve the global brand of ink coating material products for the printing and information and packaging materials.”

Print firms like Orient Press, Surface Graphics, Param Packaging, Saptagiri Packaging, Parksons Packaging, TCPL and Borkar Packaging among others are located in Daman and Silvassa.
