Both the systems according to Prakash Chopra, sales manager, Arrow Digital are the need of the hour for the digital convertors. “We launched this system since we saw a need for the convertors to do short-run jobs and this desktop-sized label printer will suit all their needs.”

He further added,” This is a desktop-sized printer which can complement a printer to provide them with on-demand print capabilities. Even unique and variable data that is entered into the labels, such as QR codes, barcodes and numbering can be printed immediately.”  

Any001 label press runs at 9.3 m/min and is equipped with a single-pass LED colour laser engine. The system focusses on precise registration and with supporting gap sensors and black mark sensors. This enables the printer to support any pre-cut labels and psot-processing of rotary die-cutters.

Any001 works on stand-alone software designed to provide the maximum colour gamut the system can print. The label press boasts of printing labels of sizes upto 20.5-120 cm on various media such as art papers, certified PET, gold/silver paper, Teslin etc.

AnyCut, another highlight at Arrow’s stall proves to be an on-demand label finishing system. This system as Chopra says, can be attached to any conventional flexo machine, screen, inkjet, digital press or can be inline with the Any001 press to maximize productivity. The system utilizes a galvano scanned CO2 laser guided system for inline laminator and matrix removal. AnyCut as Arrow claims, can do more than die-cutting, perforation, slitting, marking and hatching with high flexibility and speed.
