New Delhi-based die manufacturer Artize Die Makers displayed rubberised dies. But the company which has a new facility in Kundli is eyeing "rotary and flexible dies, next".
Speaking to PrintWeek India, Mukul Luthra, managing director, Artize Die Makers, said, “Being a die manufacturing is a new thing for the Indian market. Earlier printers or converters had to rubberise the dies themselves but we are the first and only die manufacturer in India who are providing this facility.”
“It increases the life span of a die”, added Luthra.
Established in 2011, Artize manufacturers laser dies, paper cutting dies, wooden dies, bakelite dies, embossing dies and screen guard dies. “I have started die manufacturing on the suggestion of my close friends who have acquired a reputation in label printing," Luthra added.
The first generation dies manufacturer has started a new facility in Kundli and the machines are under installation. “Within a month time or may be soon our new facility will be fully functional and our capacity will be increased approximately by four-times. Right now, we produce around 70 dies per day and it will be more than 250 dies per day”, added Luthra.
