The Coimbatore-based manufacturer and exporter of printing and allied machinery, Autoprint showcased the recently launched Checkmate 50, the carton inspection machine along with Dion 450 NX, a four-colour non-woven bag printing machine at the show.
N Prabhu, business head - post printing machines, Autoprint, said, “The strategy behind displaying the Checkmate 50 and Dion 450 NX at Pamex was the fact that Mumbai and Gujarat are the major markets for these products.” He added that, “Both the products has evoked good response and we could conclude few orders during the show, which has proven to be a good decision.”
The Checkmate carton inspection machine is designed to inspect 40,000 cartons per hour.
Prabhu said, “The major USP of Checkmate is that it can inspect met-pet cartons, which is extremely difficult due to its reflectivity.”
Along with the inspection system and bag printing machine, Autoprint displayed Colt 5K, the single-colour entry level printing machine with VDP, Repetto 65, a die-punching machine and Max creaser, a creasing machine were displayed.
The Colt 5K according to Prabhu is the first machine launched in India for entry level markets which has variable data printing configured on an offset machine. The rural and semi-urban markets are the target area for Autoprint.
Prabhu said, “The quality of the attendees was extremely professional and well informed, which helped us in striking deals at the show easier.”
Orders worth four crores were finalised by Autoprint at the show. This includes three orders for Checkmate 50 and two orders for the Dion NX 450.
