Awards and tech seminar will set the flavour for SPI
The Screen Print India (SPI) show, scheduled for 6-8 May at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, has on its agenda everything - trade exhibition, technical seminars, and awards - to keep the attendees engaged and informed., Associations

As the organisers claim, the three-day seminar is all that one needs to understand the smart ways to improve one's performance. The key speakers at the seminar will be Mike Young, screen process consultant at Imagetek Consulting International and Charlie Taublieb of Taublieb Consulting, among others. Some of the key topics to be covered here are - overview of printed circuit, touchscreen and conductive screen printing applications, high-tech screen printing 101 for senior and mid-management, simulated process dark garments, four color process, among others.
The highlight of the first day of the show, 6 May, will be the Awards ceremony where 25 awards across Screen Printing, Textile Printing, Digital Printing and Sublimation Printing will be given away. In the recently announced winner's list, Classic Stripes, Spectrum Scan, and Varsha Transprint have made it big at the awards.
In addition to this, what is the screen print industry's ode to the women - the Creative Woman Entrepreneur in Screen Printing award - will be given away to Renuka Roy of R G Printers (Kolkatta), Neema Mahajan of Parampara Cards (New Delhi), and Vandana Khake of Unique Labels (Pune).
