Balasaheb Ambekar of Satara elected as president of Maharashtra Mudran Parishad
The fourth executive council meeting of 2012-13 of Maharashtra Mudran Parishad (MMP) was held on 16 December, 2012 at the Babulnath office of Mumbai Mudrak Sangh.

MMP president Vilas Sangurdekar presided the meeting. Madhusudan Joshi, general secretary, Uday Dhote, treasurer and D G Ambekar, president, MMS shared the dais.
The meeting started by an address by the president and discussion on various agenda. Special focus was on the 57th AGM and annual conference along with a small exhibition of two days which is scheduled to take place at Nagpur on Sunday, 27 January.
Arvind B Mardikar, secretary, Printers’ Guild, Nagpur and convener of AGM informed the members about the preparations and programmes for the one day event. They also extended invitation to all the members of MMP based in Maharashtra, Goa and Belgaum.
As per the tradition of MMP, a new president is elected in the executive council meeting prior to AGM. In the said meeting Balasaheb Ambekar of Satara, a senior journalist and a member of MMP since last 30 years was unanimously elected as president of MMP for the year 2013. New team under Ambekar will assume the charge during forthcoming AGM being held at Nagpur.
Anand Limaye, chairman, MMP’s Institute of Printing Technology and Research, briefed the members about the development plans and also practical oriented courses being designed and executed at Panvel. Uday Dhote, treasurer, MMP, presented the annual accounts before the committee. Vivek Bhave, past general secretary, concluded by vote of thanks and appreciated the efforts of Mumbai Mudrak Sangh in organising the meeting
