On choosing the machine, Harish Kumar of Futura Digital said, “With continuous growth in print volume, we had reached a point when we felt there was a scope to take a leap for further growth, and we should provide faster turnaround. Therefore, we opted for the Canon ImagePress C9010 and the C710 system, which delivers print productivity of standard offset printing papers and media flexibility on special medias.”

He added, “Canon is a user-friendly machine, and our operator can easily operate this high-end production engine. There are many unique features, such as double-fixing, long size upto 51-inches, speed for mixed jobs, colour consistency and front and back registration.”

The ImagePress C9010VP is built on pillars of continuous productivity, print consistency, and media flexibility to empower our customers to serve better. “Taking digital colour printing to the next level, we are happy to see that the ImagePress C9010VP has performed as per our expectation,” he said.

Futura Digital started its operations as a family-owned commercial printing business in 1995, and provides services to key corporate accounts and print service providers in Bangalore.

“We have grown to be a top-notch printing company in Bangalore. After playing a leading role as a commercial printer, today, we are the single-source for all your printing needs,” Kumar said. “Our sprawling digital workshop is equipped with the world’s most reliable printers, printing requirements, specialising in high quality services like design, printing, and finishing.”

The company specialises in business cards, invitations, envelope covers, leaflets, manuals, flyers, brochures, certificates, ID cards and short-run variable data printing.

“We offer quality products with competitive pricing, prompt service and timely deliveries,” Kumar added.

Kumar said with the investment in the ImagePress C9010VP, Futura Digital intends to take the strategic position between a copy shop and an offset printing company to target high-end sector customers who require short-run and high-quality printed products.

“To maintain the pace of growth we had to enhance its capacity and therefore it needed a duty cycle digital colour system that offered high flexibility in terms of substrates as well as reliability,” Kumar said.
