Bengaluru brings home two Latex 3000; India's first
At an event held in Bengaluru, HP announced SR Digital Imaging-Auto Graphics and SSR Enterprises as the first two Indian firms to house the Latex 3000.

Latex 3000, which is capable of generating scratch-proof prints up to 180sqm per hour (outdoor quality) at up to 1200 dpi, was launched at Fespa Eurasia in 2013.
SR Digital Imaging-Auto Graphics, headed by Arjun Reddy and D J Bangara, is a leading name in the wide-format / signage printing while SSR Enterprises, which is led by Rahamathulla, has established itself as a complete solution provider for indoor and outdoor signages in Bengaluru.
Having an install base of HP's Scitex and Latex previous models, the features of Latex 3000 that appealed to both Bangara and Rahamathulla were the media versatility and scratch-resistant print.
Speaking to PrintWeek India, Bangara said, "Latex is a technology which is gradually been adopted in India. We new LX 3000 will, with HP's buy-back policy, will replace the existing Latex 800 and enable higher production across larger media."
He added, "It is an industrial printer which offers broader media versatility, including printing on heat-sensitive substrates, which will help us meet our evolving customer needs and also grow our business avenues”
SSR's third HP investment is the LX 3000. Rahamathulla commented, "With this installation we have moved to not only a more eco-friendly platform but have also overcome our earlier limitation of not being able to print on substrates like canvas and window fins.”
Two weeks in operation, SSR has already printed 56,000 sqft on the LX 3000
“As prints are now more scratch resistant, we are further bringing down the cost of printing for our customers by eliminating the need of lamination,” added Rahamathulla.
