Bengaluru printers fined for printing flex
Following the High Court order, the Bengaluru municipal authorities in the Karnataka state has taken action against local presses for printing buntings. So far, printers have been asked pay penalty to the tune of Rs 92,000.

The authorities have inspected more than 15 printing presses and ordered closure of 11 and recovered bunting materials weighing 8.5 tonnes.
A penalty of Rs 50,000 was collected from East zone and Rs 35,000 from West zone. The authorities levied a penalty of Rs 7,000 against a printing press at Mahadevapura.
