Bhatia Graphica picks DuPont Cyrel solution to expand its flexo pre-press operation

The 25-year-old company has installed a Cyrel 1000 P solvent platemaking processor and Cyrel 1000 ECDLF exposure, dryer, and light finisher unit, which Jitendra Bhatia, director at Bhatia Graphica, said, will lead to increased efficiency, productivity, and profitability. “The quality of flexo equipment and plates from DuPont Cyrel, combined with strong after-sales and service support from the Cyrel India team, were key factors in their decision-making process.”

Bhatia Graphica was founded in 1997 by Ram Bhatia, and initially provided zinc plates to the dry offset industry. In 2014, the company achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first in India to offer metal-backed digital plates. Seeing the growing demand, the company invested in a second CTP system in 2017, which marked the beginning of its expansion into digital letterpress plates and, eventually, digital flexo plates.
