Live demonstration of the 32inch machine can be seen at the company’s stall along with a 24inch Thermolam 600 AC. “Both these machines are targeted at digital as well as offset print firms, which require in-house lamination,” said Yogesh Bhogle of Bhogle Engineering Works.

The Thermolam 800 AC uses hot oil spray for heating the roller. It is equipped with an automatic cutting device to deliver the output in sheet form.

The company has installed more than 400 machines since 2002, of which 35 installations were in 2012.

Speaking about the lamination techniques, Bhogle said that the trend is shifting from conventional wet glue lamination to thermal lamination. “There are several benefits of thermal lamination process as it is a glue less technology, the product is odour-free and is considered as eco-friendly and is safe for food contact,” he added.

The machines manufactured by the company are marketed by Cosmo Films. Besides the live demonstrations of Thermolam machines, the stall also showcased several products from Cosmo Films.
