PageMaster will be roll fed digital printing plus inline-finishing equipment, which combines high-quality roll fed digital printing with inline-finishing. The machine can be used for digitally print brochures, manuals, and personalised notebooks, amongst others.
Founded in 2013, Bielomatti, as a joint venture between digital printing specialist Matti Technology and the provider of paper processing equipment Bielomatik Leuze. The company will offer innovative digital printing and processing technology from one source at its open house.
“During the event, printers, converters, publishers and other interested customers will have the opportunity to see for themselves the benefits of the new Bielomatti technology,” said Marco Biagianti, managing director, Bielomatti.
Biagianti added that with this machine, job changes will be done ‘on the fly.’ “With a maximum capacity of 110 products per minute in double pocket operation and with production speeds of up to 300 m/min, the PageMaster will show the live production of --- brochures, magazines, instruction manuals or personalised notebooks from the unprinted roll to the finished product,” he added.
The machine is based on the Kodak stream inkjet technology, a continuous inkjet system which enables even large runs to be produced economically. The stream technology is designed for a real high speed production with superior printing quality that stands the comparison with offset printing. With a resolution of 175lpi, a variety of coated and uncoated papers can be printed on both sides.
Apart from Bielomatti PageMaster, the company will also showcase its new cross cutter CutMaster CFS 105 at the open house. The compact stand-alone solution can be used for cutting sheets of board, paper, as well as plastic film. Digital inkjet printheads can be integrated for the imprinting of personalised data. Also, inline integration to digital printing or finishing machines with a non-stop pile change system is also available.
And the BookMaster BM 360, which is suitable for the production of hardcover books, will demonstrate an economic book-on-demand production.
Bielomatti is represented in India by three companies; Artek and Link (New Delhi), and Intelligent (Bengaluru) for plastic welding, paper finishing and RFID respectively. However, the company has not announced its Indian representative for the digital product segment.
