Bindwel's open house in Bengaluru during last week of November
Indian post-press specialist Bindwel is set to welcome customers and industry professionals to its open house event, scheduled from 25 to 30 November 2024, at its factory in Bengaluru. This event follows the success of previous showcases and offers a platform for global customers to explore the latest innovations in bookbinding technology.

The open house will feature Bindwel's SigLoch range of post-print kits, designed for digital print. The solutions for micro, and short-run bookbinding will also be there. Additionally, visitors will witness demonstrations of the new versions of Bindwel's flagship bookbinding machines, gatherers, and three-knife trimmers. Customers will not only see the products in action but also get a glimpse into the design and manufacturing processes that bring these innovations to life. Recently the highest selling medium speed binder in the world BW@2500 had a new launch of its version - V24 which provides a number of features that help the print buyers improve their quality at reduced costs.
Anil Kumar, the national sales lead for Bindwel said, "Since its launch BW@2500 V24, in April 2024, we have crossed the mark of 60 installations." This model with the detailing of each of these benefits will be a star attraction at the open house.
Speaking to PrintWeek, Sajith Pallippuram, managing director of Bindwel-Stelda said, "This open house will show the elements of our development post-Drupa 2024 and pre-Printpack 2025. This will give us an assessment of the path of developments that we have picked, specifically in digital post-press and short-run book production, as we will get to show them to real-time users and take their feedback."
The event will feature Kai Buentemeyer, Ex-CEO of Kolbus and a distinguished member of Bindwel's board of directors. Buentemeyer who was present during the open house in 2023 as well said, “I am excited to be back in India. I was present at the Bindwel stand in Drupa all through the show, and I hope to be present during PrintPack 2025." Buentemeyer said, "Here we will discuss the progress that is being made in the direction that we have decided to follow. I am looking forward to meeting customers and exchanging notes with them."
As a board member of the Bindwel-Stelda group, Buentemeyer will also participate in discussions on the company’s vision for the next three years.
