Bizongo delivers over two lakh PPE kits across 5,500 localities

The recipients of the kits include public and private healthcare service providers, NGOs and private sector organisations. The medical facilities that have received the PPE kits include Mumbai’s Nair Hospital, Cuddalore Government Hospital in Tamil Nadu, Marathwada Medical and Research Institute in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, and Maxlife Health Enterprises, among others.

The company has also supplied the safety kits to private enterprises like Swiggy, BigBasket, Urban Company, Zomato and Shadowfax.

In order to ensure the PPE kits reached a larger number of people, Bizongo teamed up with NGOs such as HT Parekh Foundation, ATE Chandra Foundation, Piramal Swasthya, Foundation for Ecological Security, and Christian Medical Association of India.

Bizongo also created a digital platform to facilitate the supply of PPE kits for healthcare professionals in India. The platform provides data on the demand, supply and availability of the kits all across the country, along with the available shipping options.

Sachin Agrawal, co-founder and COO at Bizongo, said, “We have set up a dedicated taskforce to work round the clock through an online control room to map demand and supply of PPE kits and other essentials using our proprietary digital supply chain services. I am happy the team also managed to overcome some of the logistics challenges to ensure a smooth service.”

He added, “The site is also enabled to accept donations for the public healthcare service providers which are facing a fund crunch in procuring these medical consumables. We have tied up with United Way to facilitate these donations from the public.”

Meanwhile, Bizongo continues to supply packaging materials to essential goods suppliers including eCommerce, pharma, diagnostic labs, dairy and food services companies.
