The seven-night eight-day trip from 6 to 14 November is open to BMPA members and according to last reports, just six seats were left to go.

The last visit to Germany saw 26 print CEOs from Mumbai visit Print Media Academy, Demo Hall 11, OEMs for Heldelberg and packaging and commercial print firms.

“If the last trip to Germany revealed Heidelberg’s passion for perfection, this trip to Singapore and Japan will offer the visitors a look at HP’s Centre for Excellence and facilities of Sakurai, Komori and Toyota Motors  in Japan, ” said Faheem Agboatwala, the new president of BMPA.

BMPA is celebrating its 60 years of existence. The study tours are part of its Diamond Jubilee Celebration (DJC) motto of – Let’s do more”. “We are making a variety of engagements to transfer this motto of DJC into our DNA,” said Agboatwala.

The tour also includes visits to print converters - customers of Sakurai and Komori in Japan. Agboatwala added, “The real values of these tours come in learning about the ways in which efficiencies can be achieved, in building strategies and workplace measures that can be integrated into one’s own print plant.”

The tour will cost Rs 1,55,555. A non-refundable advance of Rs 60,000 is to be paid upfront, balance payable on or before 10 October, 2014, this subject to availability of seat. For further information, contact: office@bmpa.org
