Besides its print operation, MOS is a logistics company offering courier and related services internationally. The sectors MOS deals with are financial services, retail, asset management, etc. And so, as Udayar stated "When a jobs is printed or work is deployed to a finishing and envelope enclosing system for the direct mail side, data backup becomes crucial. In real terms this means, there should be no data and IP loss prevention."

Udayar who is a member of Information Security Committee and leads the department of IT at MOS will highlight simple steps any print CEO or mid level operation personnel can take up. A hard-core tech geek, Nadyar will share his learnings based on eight years at MOS, where he admits, he has playing "one of the most challenging roles in the industry."

Udayar is responsible for developing and executing the business IT strategy and directing the overall performance and support to MOS.

His presentation will enlighten the audience about securing passwords; the ayes and nays of social networking; the safety guidelines for email, internet, virus, SFTP/FTP, domain, power backup and physical security.

Besides this, Udayar will share MOS' learnings about how data management is key to printing in today's times; and thereby provide insights of big data challenges as well as an overview of information security breaches.

Faheem Agboatwala, president of BMPA said, "I urge all print CEOs in and around Mumbai to send “at least one” member of staff to the monthly SaS sessions in order to augment the skill sets of a team member."

Now in its second year, SaS has signed up with the print technologist and colour expert Kiran Prayagi for 12 sessions, starting October 2016, on colour management lessons in pre-press, pressroom, and post-press areas. The sessions will commence from October 2016.

PrintWeek India is part of the SaS initiative along with SIES (Nerul) and GIPT (CST Station) and of course BMPA.
