Hemant Bhotica, president of BMPA said: "The Print Summit is an important brand amongst top printers of Mumbai and Maharashtra. We are trying to conceptualise the Print Summit in a unique way from previous years. We want to make it an all-India show and have major print firms from all over India on the panel. It is one of the key reasons for us to approach PrintWeek India as our partner. The focus area for us will be panel discussions of 90 minutes with the best print minds in India."
In 2011, Kishore Biyani, the group CEO of Future Group delivered the keynote session for more than 400 delegates. For 2012, the BMPA intends to go one step ahead; already two Indian industry luminaries have confirmed their presence for 24 February 2012.
Ramu Ramanathan, group editor of Haymarket Media India, (PrintWeek India and Campaign India) said, "PrintWeek India has been hosting BMPA's Share-to-Benefit (StB) forum in our office and some of the sessions are absolutely fantastic. It was time to take a joint leap forward." He added: "I'm very cheerful about print’s future. There’s no denying that the market is tough but our industry is in pretty good shape and we need to highlight our achievements."
Faheem Agboatwala, chairman of StB forum said: "It's India's moment now. The Print Summit in 2012 will enable print firms to ride the crest of the impending wave of confidence. We plan to showcase print firms from all over India that are making a difference by being leaner and meaner. This fits in with our theme: "Let us make a difference."
