BMPA's Drupa Impressions - To deliver per user expectations

The Bombay Master Printers Association (BMPA) will host Drupa Impressions 2012, on 30 June at the Sunville Banquets in Mumbai.

Prashant Shah of BMPA said, "The mystique over drupa 2012 is compelling. People are keen to grasp more knowledge of the largest show in the print industry. We have received goodish response so far and expect to cross the 100 mark."

Vishwanath Shetty, chairman, task group seminars for BMPA said, "Landa Corporation has collaborated with BMPA for the Drupa Impressions 2012. The product launch video of 'Nano: bigger than you think' will be featured at the show."

Shetty added: "The DI-12 show will be a leveller of sorts. Those who visited and those who did not, both stand to gain valuable impressions and incisive viewpoint on the world’s most authoritative show for the print industries - Drupa."

Naresh Khanna, editor of Indian Printer Publisher, the keynote speaker for the day would provide an overview on Drupa 2012.

The event will host three panel discussions.

The first panel will discuss impressions from Drupa 2012 on commercial printing (offset and digital segments). The panel would be anchored by Iqbal Kherodawala of Printline Reproductions and the panelists include Shailesh Sharma (Inndus), Tushar Dhote (DOT), Milap Shah (Print Stop), Rajiv Vohra (Repro India) and Rupesh Sawant (Superlekha).

The post-lunch panel would view the Landa Press Launch video and analyse impressions on Nanography and innovation pioneered by Landa Corporation. The panelists being  Naresh Khanna , professor Dr Rajendrakumar Anayath (PMA) and R R Subbu (Supressa). Khanna will anchor this panel.

The third panel will review Drupa 2012 impressions on packaging printing (cartons and labels - offset and digital segments). The panelists include Krunal Shah (Award Offset), Jinesh Mehta (Utility PrintPack), Denver Annunciation (Janus Intl), Vijay Jobanputra (Alia Branding) and Jamal Agwan (Prefect Pkg). 

Print majors such as GMG, Heildelberg among others will deliver their perspective on innovations to conclude the sessions for the day.
