Bobst completes multiple installations of die-cutter and folder gluers

Bobst has completed multiple installations which inlcude Novacut 106 E, Visionfold 80, Ambition 76 A1 among others from the bouquet of folder gluers and die-cutters across India.

Novacut 106 E is a die-cutting machine which is mainly used in the packaging and label industry and to convert materials like paper, carton-board, corrugated board and semi-rigid plastic. The Novacut has Autoplaten technology which helps in quicker setups, better product quality, and fewer stops in production. Novacut 106 E reaches the speed of up to 8,000 sheets per hour and has been installed at companies like Parksons Packaging in Chakan and Rudrapur and Sai Packaging in Bangalore.

The Ambition 76, a folder-gluer, can produce a range of products like presentation folders, wallets, through to CD/DVD sleeves and a wide range of packaging. The machine can process materials like carton-board with maximum thickness of 0.024 inches and corrugated board with N, F and E flute type. The machine has a speed of 66 to 984 ft/min depending on the substrate to be converted. The Ambition has been successfully installed in companies like TCPL and Surface Graphics at Silvassa, Singhania Printers at Hyderabad etc.

Surface Graphics has also installed a folder-gluer, Visionfold 80 A2 at their Silvassa plant. Since Drupa 2012, Bobst has installed 23 die-cutters and folder gluers across India.
