Bobst to host Competence ’15 in February at Pune

Bobst has announced that it will host a three-day open house – Competence ’15 from 26-28 February, 2015 at its plant in Pune. Competence ’15 will showcase, what Bobst claims, path-breaking technologies with one world premiere for the new designed Lila II 145 corrugated board and litho-laminated boxes; its new entry level line blanking machine, Novacut 106ER; and inline inspection system, Expertfold+Accucheck.

“Our main focus during the open house will be to demonstrate that automation is the key to be more cost and operationally efficient for profitable growth,” said Venugopal Menon, vice president, Bobst India.

Exclusive live demonstrations, inspirational talk and a fun farce play about print and wedding in Hinglish, will be part of the open house.

Trade partners of Bobst and business associated like HB Fuller, Siemens Financial Services, Pidilite, Welbound/Vijuk, Tata Capital, Esko,Baumer, Robatech, WH Leary, Heiber+Schroder, Nan Pao Resins, Henkel, BillerudKorsnas and Provin Technos will also participate with stalls at the venue.

Further, Bobst stall at PrintPack too will have information on the open house and show the value-added products and cost efficient solutions it has to offer for customers in packaging or those who are looking at packaging as their next diversification. “Having vast domain knowledge and astute business knowhow in the folding carton and corrugated board business, customers can derive valuable market, product and business information from our product experts present at the booth,” said Menon.
