Puneet Aggarwal, zonal sales manager for north, east and south, Bobst India, said, “Our focus is to capitalise on the market shift of the unorganised sector to the organised way of working. Market trend is where small to medium size players are trying to automate and increase their efficiency as a result of the scarcity of labour and the shortage of delivery time as compared to competition.”
“We would like to take advantage of the evolution and expect to sell around 50 machines in the current financial year including folder gluers and die cutters. We are getting 55% of the total business from new players.”
“Since the inception (March 2010) of our manufacturing facility is in India, our Indian customers do not need to worry about currency fluctuation and custom clearance and as the result we have sold more than 100 folder gluers in the country. In addition to this advantage, we have also established an operator training institute so that we can train personnel to operate our machines,” concluded Aggarwal.
