Bobst India organises seminar on folding carton in Delhi and Ludhiana
Bobst India organised technical seminars at New Delhi and Ludhiana on 23 and 24 August, 2013, respectively. The event was attended by more than 40 printers in Delhi and 20 in Ludhiana.

Puneet Aggarwal, zonal sales manager, presented the new global trends in folding carton and the challenges faced by packaging convertors and that how Bobst can help its customers overcome these challenges and also make them more productive and cost efficient. He has also touched upon the viability of high value converting equipment in the Indian context. He introduced the Bobst group and its offerings and how Bobst in India has set up a state of art facility for manufacturing of folder gluers for global market and about its competence centre at Pune offering training courses for operators.
Subhasis Roy, business director, Bobst India presented on how, a decision on purchase of a capital equipment like Bobst purely based on return on investment (ROI), lower per unit cost of production of a box and reliability the machine like Bobst offers over its life cycle.
Will be leasing machine a fruitful model in India: Taking a cue from the USA and European markets, Roy offered printers an opportunity to lease capital equipment. Intec Capital, who were also present at Delhi event explained the benefits of leasing capital equipment. The idea was well received, opening up a new window to printers who have been contemplating to make a shift from manual operation or from second hand or low cost far east machines.
