Bobst organises a technical and awareness seminar in Indore
Bobst India organised and hosted a technical and awareness seminar on ‘automation in box punching and pasting’ in Indore in April 2013. Bobst conducted this seminar for the packaging printers in association with Indore Master Printers Association (IMPA).

Venugopal Menon, vice president at Bobst India, said, “The seminar was conducted to raise the awareness of the technological innovation with Bobst’s high-end machines and also to give an overview on the current packaging trends.”
Menon added, “The main objective of the event was; to update on the current market trends and growth in folding carton and to present business case analysis how to justify investment into high value productive equipment in the current Indian context.”
Swadesh Sharma, owner of Atharva Packaging and secretary at IMPA, said, “The seminar has not only given us technical knowledge but also the awareness about the current market scenario. The seminar was an eye opener as it gave detail about the use of innovative technology in converting process, which is always a concern for packaging printer.”
Venugopal Menon, Subhasis Roy, business director and Sachin Patil, regional sales manager at Bosbt, India spoke on the occasion about their innovative products, solutions and their working along with the financial aspects to install the Bobst machines.
Meanwhile during the event which was attended by more than 40 delegates from the association, IMPA launched its bi-monthly journal, Impact which is directed towards printing and packaging industry.
