Bobst premieres eight new printing and converting kits

Pulling the cover on the completely new Mastercut 106 PER, the sheetfed die-cutting machine, and Masterfold 110 A3, the folding and gluing machine, Bobst’s CEO Jean-Pascal Bobst claimed that the features on these equipments offer ‘zero-defect’ products.

“We think about the brand owners, understand the need applications of the market, and add to this our customers’ requirements, when we design new machines. We keep on adding new novelties to our machines every year,” said Bobst. “This Drupa our focus is on new, quality printing and converting capabilities, a way of showing brand owners, packaging designers, carton makers and label manufacturers what the future could hold for them.
 
Three new web-fed world premieres include the M6 UV flexo press, which gives users access to digital flexo printing into folding cartons and flexible packaging; the CL 750D compact laminator; and the MW85F and MW 125F CI flexo presses.
 
Bobst announced that the M6 press has been installed at two locations in Europe, but did not reveal the names of the print companies.
 
In the gravure segment, RS 6002 and RS 6003, which Bobst claimed are eco-friendly presses which can handle both short and long runs; and an addition of 40SIX to its SIX range of presses.
 
With Impact CAD, Pick&Pay, MyBobst.com and Service Navigator, Bobst has entered the realm of online activity, which will offer spare parts, maintenance, tooling and a helpline. “With these offerings, Bobst has demonstrated the importance it gives to service provisions,” said Bobst.

All the new launches are running live at the Bobst Stand (10/A60), at regular intervals, and are open for order.
