Bobst to sponsor Packaging Converter of the Year Award for 2012
Bobst confirmed their sponsorship for "Student of the Year" category in addition to the "Packaging Converter of the Year" for the PrintWeek India Awards 2012.

Venugopal Menon, vice president at Bobst India said, " We confirm that Bobst will sponsor the Student of the Year'' selected from all over India. We will impart a one week training and orientation in packaging post-press (folding carton) at the Bobst India Competence Centre in Pirangut near Pune."
Bobst India has sponsored the "Packaging Converter of the Year" for the fourth year.
Bobst had a solid run at the recently concluded Drupa. The bookings comprised of a Novacut 106 die-cutting machine, three Expertcut 106 die-cutters with power register, five Expertfold folder gluers, three Accubraille GT equipped with Accucheck for quality control and inspection, and an Ambition folder-gluing machine.
Menon said, “With the confirmed orders for the Accubraille GT, India will be the second biggest country after Germany to get orders for the Accubraille.”
In the first three years, the award winners in this category have been Utility PrintPack (2009); Pragati Pack (2010) and Utility PrintPack (2011).
After winning the Award in this category at the inaugural edition of PrintWeek India Awards in 2009, Utility PrintPack bagged the Award in 2011 on its core strength of cartons for luxury packaging.
The entries were printed on a range of multi-colour Heidelberg presses to achieve high quality print result. The company is a huge exporter of cartons for luxury and liquor products with customers around the globe.
