Boman Moradian to offer insights on profitability in a webinar today

Prof Moradian is a BE (Mech) from VJTI, Mumbai and holds a post-graduate degree in management studies with specialisation in operations from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai, with experience of over 43 years in operations management, operations strategy, demand management, operations research and project management at various organisations.
Moradian’s fiery presentation at one of the BMPA’s flagship event, Print Summit, is still talked about. “Customer is my CEO; Customer pays my salary, but I am not a slave to the customer; Become a ‘khandani chor’ and not a ‘chindhi chor’, see where the big money lies - these are some of the biggest takeaways from the multiple times I have heard the professor,” said Faheem Agboatwala, a key member of the BMPA.
He added, “I am happy that Indian students have such world-class professors at their disposal. A must-hear for anyone who is into manufacturing.”
Prof Moradian believes that the goal of running a business is simply to make money, now and in the future. According to Eli Goldratt, a proponent of TOC, the way to make money is to maximise a global measure referred to as throughput, while minimising two other global measures referred to as inventory and operating expense. "Tell me how you will measure me and I will tell you how I will behave," is the mantra.
Agboarwala advised, “If you want to run your business more effectively, listen to what Moradian has to share during the BMPA Webinar on 12 March 2021 at 2.30pm, sharp."
