Vijayawada-based digital powerhouse, Akruti Printex invested in a DreamLabo 5000, Canon’s sixth in India.
Akruti Printex, one of the leaders in wedding print industry, is a six-year-old company with its presence in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Vijayawada.
The DreamLabo 5000 makes use of the Canon’s inkjet photo printing technology which has a high-density printhead with the capability of 300mm wide printing. The seven-colour dye-based ink system delivers a speed of 1,000 A4 pages and 2,300 4x6 inches size pages per hour and is a substitute for the conventional silver halide technology.
The Dreamlabo also uses Canon’s FINE (Full-photolithography inkjet nozzle engineering) technology, which ensures that all the ink under the heater is pushed out in a single ejection for efficient performance.

Besides, Vijayawada, the DreamLabo 5000 has been installed in Kochi, Bangalore and Mysore.
