Canon India promotes Alok Bharadwaj to the position of executive vice president

Canon India has promoted Alok Bharadwaj to the post of executive vice president of its India operations, effective January 2013.

Bharadwaj operates out of Canon India’s headquarters located in Gurgaon.

In his new role, he would be responsible for Canon's business stream comprising of operations for all six business groups covering sales, marketing, services and corporate communications. Prior to this, Bharadwaj was the senior vice president for Canon India.

Under his leadership, Canon registered a twenty-fold expansion over the last 12 years, and is looking at revenues of Rs 2,200-crore in 2013.
