The company recently installed the fastest Solvent-less Modulo 120 dry lamination machine at ITC PPD, Chennai. “The modular machine construction with movement of the whole coating group on guides, eliminates harmful vibrations that can interfere with the correct functioning of the adhesive coating group, especially with production where high basic weight paper is used,” explained Gandhi.
The coating system used by Ecosystem permits the operator to have precision in dosage and the regulation of the adhesive thickness. The pneumatically extractable sleeve allows easy format change. Furthermore, the Teflon treatment of the metallic parts and the special doctor blades help the operator to execute fast clean-up of the machine. The separator of the laminated sheets is supplied with an efficient sheet decurling system and adjustable blowers consent correct sheet support during all the transport phases.
