“The XC 116 procurement was a necessary upgrade to the older version of (Proteck’s) cutting machine and we are very happy with the decision,” said Manu Choudhury, director at CDC Printers.
“The machine has been performing very well with bare minimum downtime for a few months. Now we have placed an order for a jogger to add on to the cutting machine,” Choudhary added.

Proteck’s recently announced cutting machine systems which includes the jogger, piler and the guillotine are also available in various sizes 95/158/165 along with the popular 116/137 and have been well-received in the  Indian market.

“Our association with CDC has been since their inception and we are glad to continue it through the latest models of our upgraded cutting machine,” said Kartik Iyer of Proteck.

Founded in 1990 by Chitranjan Choudhury, CDC Printers has won at the inaugural edition of the Printweek India Awards in 2009.

“The last year has been significant for us with our expansion and diversification into book printing with us on the verge of producing one lakh books per day in quick time,” concluded Choudhury.
