Cerm, a part of the Heidelberg Group since 2011, will re-launch its Web4Labels, its online shopfront at Drupa. The updated version will enable the use of any from mobiles to tablets to portable or desktop computers.
“Based on our user group suggestions, we have entirely re-engineered the existing tool from scratch,” said Peter Dhondt, head business development, and sales at Cerm. “Flexible information grids will give the printer the possibility to customise the information for every individual customer. These features will lower the threshold for customers to participate in the printers’ workflow via the Web.”
The re-launched all-in-one digital shopfront for online management of assets will provide access to quoting and ordering, including references, quantities, shipping address, repeat or new orders, and the possibility to upload artwork. The Backoffice module will help manage larger number of orders and work volume for small print runs and complex jobs while the shopfloor module will provide insight into capacity per machine and optimise machines to reduce changeover times.
Cerm will be present at the Heidelberg stand as the rebranded Prinect Business Manager and an integrated part of the Prinect Software Suite for the offset market. It will also be present at its partners stands – Chili Publish, Esko, Consignor, AVT, AB Graphic and Hybrid Software, with new and enhanced collaboration. Dhondt said, “We have a mission at Cerm which says ‘Deliver as promised.’ For over 30 years, Cerm has been doing just that: developing and delivering comprehensive solutions for the label community around the world.
Headquartered in Belgium, Cerm has 185 customers across 30 countries.
