Chawla Printers goes for its third Komori
Since the installation of its first Komori press, an Enthrone 429, in 2023, New Delhi-based Chawla Printers never stopped investing in a Komori machine in every single year. Last year, the company installed a Enthrone 429. This year, it has booked a Lithrone GL437. The booking took place during the recent PrintPack 2025.

Pankaj Chawla, founder of Chawla Printers, said, “We have been obsessed with Komori technology since the day we started running our first Komori press two years ago. Our latest investment in the brand new Lithrone GL437 is for boosting our productivity and print quality to a whole new level. After all, this latest Lithrone model is ideally a high-end press for high-volume production which we are set to do for meeting the increasing needs of our clients in the packaging sector.”
Chawla Printers has been providing print solutions to big brands and businesses, across many sectors over the years. The company’s new investment in the Lithrone GL437 will enable them to offer their clients an extended service, encompassing a diverse range of graphic prints and end products. “With our new Lithrone GL437, we are aiming to explore the packaging sector in a bigger way with newer applications,” Chawla said.
He added, “FMCG and pharmaceutical are two key sectors where we are readying to tap expansively using the all new Lithrone GL437. We have authenticated the advanced features and capability of this latest Lithrone model, in terms of its productivity, print quality and print sizes. In fact, we are looking for ways to unlock further growth in business, particularly focusing on the packaging sector, with the prowess of this new Komori press.”
Nevertheless, Lithrone GL437 is robustly designed and engineered to operate at the maximum speeds up to 15,000-sph with online coater. It can print maximum sheet size of 640x940-mm with thicknesses ranging from 0.04 to 0.45-mm to produce A1-size products.
Chawla Printers has a team of 20 regular printing and production staff, which is expanded up to 100 with the hire of 80 more as per requirement. The company has been working for big corporate brands like Sony, Sleepwell, Ertay, Bonjour, to name a few, over the years. Geographically, Chawla Printers’ clients are dotted across Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, and the nearby cities and towns in North India.
