“We have very good experience with Konica Minolta machines in the past. It has excellent support services. Therefore, we decided to continue our business relation with the company,” Anuj Jain, owner of Parshvi Graphics, said. The company, established in 2007, was earlier using a Konica Minolta C8000.
Jain also added that there is no competitive product in the market which could deliver prints up to 51-inches and support 400gsm paper without compromising on quality.
A top player in printing wedding card and scratch cards, Parshavi Graphics has a complete set of binding, lamination, cutting machines at its shopfloor. The company also offers screen printing services.
Jain said while the production depends on the market demand which keeps on varying from one season to another, on an average, Parshavi prints between 50,000 to 75,000 cards per month.
With the Konica Minolta C6085, which offers facilities like banner printing and printing on substrates up to 400gsm, the company is now hoping to penetrate other segments, which Jain believes will help grow its volumes substantially. “Our short-term target is to achieve 1 lakh prints a month,” he added.
For the future, Jain is targeting to add two more digital printing machines and a UV printing machine in the next six months.
