Chennai edition of Wan-Ifra conference on 12-14 September 2017

Wan-Ifra, the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, has announced that the next edition of its annual conference and exhibition for the newspaper industry in South Asia, will be held at Hotel ITC Grand Chola in Chennai from 12 to 14 September 2017.

First held in 1993, this edition would mark the silver jubilee of the event.

The ‘World Editors Forum – South Asia Summit’ will be held for the first time in India as part of refreshing the format for the silver jubilee edition.

The event will also include a ‘printing summit’ conference, two pre-conference workshops, networking dinners and expo.

The conference and the expo will take place on 13-14 September. The pre-conference workshops will take place on 12 September all at the same venue.

The organisers will also arrange a visit to a modern printing plant on the last day of the event.
