Chennai-based Better Labels installs fifth Xeikon digital label and packaging press in India
The leading manufacturer of labels and bar code stickers, Better Labels, was founded in 1979. The firm caters to a wide range of premium clientele including pharmaceutical majors, banks and top IT companies, among others. The organisation has recently moved their operations to a bigger 16,000 sq/ft premise at the Guindy Industrial Estate.

“The key reason to opt for the Xeikon 3050 press was to stay ahead and keep up with the changing dynamics of label printing, digital being the way forward,” said Pakshal D Sutaria, director, Better Labels.
The Xeikon 3050 has several unique features including the possibility to use various substrates (self-adhesive label stocks, paper, and transparent and opaque films) without any specific pre-treatment or coating. full rotary dry toner electro photography printing technology.

The Xeikon security features include micro text guilloches patterns, dynamic barcodes/ QR codes and screen rule combination.
