Started in 2008 by Lakshminarayan, a veteran in label printing, the company caters to leading pharmaceutical and automobile manufacturers.

“After scouring the market for our ideal first flexographic press we narrowed down on the Mark Andy because it fitted our description in terms of functional requirement (sprocket punch was a key attribute) and our budget too,” said Kirubakaran R V, CEO of Trridev Labelss, a first generation print entrepreneur who now heads the company along with his brother Shankar Balakrishnan.

Some of the key features of the Mark Andy 2200 includes the advanced web tension management, self-aligning cassettes and superior drying and curing systems.

“Due to the increasing demand for high-end labels for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as the food and beverage labels, Trridev Labelss saw a need to expand the company’s production capacity. As a result, the company will now be able to widen its existing supply of labels thanks to the high running speeds and fast change-overs, while offering top quality printing to their customers,” said Gourav Roy, managing director of Flexo Image Graphics (FIG).

“The availability of local engineers support is another key reason for us choosing FIG and Mark Andy. Add to that, the possibility of expanding to eight colour made it our obvious choice,” concluded Kirubakaran.
