“Even though the ImagePress V700 at our Ambattur unit is the first Canon press in our facility, we have been impressed by the brand and its technology over the years. This is the reason why we eventually went for the digital colour production press, which is currently running at our Ambattur unit, Anil Kumar, proprietor of Impression Perfect Point, said.
Over the last 25 years, Impression has been impressively engaging in commercial and allied printing tasks using a fleet of digital and other printing machines of different formats and technologies, managed by a team of 14 skilled printing and production professionals, under the aegis of Kumar’s son A Monish Kumar. “Apart from the new Canon ImagePress V700, we have other digital presses of different brands at our Thousand Lights unit,” Kumar said.
He added, “When it comes to quality printing and productivity, the ImagePress V700 has its unique attributes that make the digital press apart from others. It is compact and capable to cater superior graphic prints in outstanding textures. In addition, its flexibility to take in diverse range of media is commendable. After all, ImagePress V700 is one of the highly cost-efficient digital production presses we have ever owned.”
Designed for outsized performance in a compact footprint, the ImagePress V700 operates to print on a vast range of lightweight and heavyweight media starting from 52gsm up to 350-gsm at an unprecedented speed of 71 pages per minute, adhering to diverse stocks comprising covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets. When it comes to print resolution, the press impressively delivers graphics in 2,400x2,400-dpi, using the R-VCSEL imaging technology.
Impression’s current product portfolio consists of pamphlets, invitation cards, visiting cards, wedding cards, bill books, letterheads, among others. “In addition to commercial, we also engage in digital large-format printing on vinyl and flex materials,” says Kumar, adding that they are looking forward to improving all verticals with newer and advanced machines like the ImagePress V700.
